In the beginning of July, 2025, Ms. Annie Nguyen, Partnership Director of Women in Tech®Vietnam & Women Tech Entrepreneurs, had the incredible opportunity to join Toronto Tech Week, a vibrant celebration of innovation, community, and entrepreneurial spirit.

Annie participated in inspiring sessions including the Women in Tech Breakfast and Launchpad for Entrepreneurs, where she learned from and shared stories with trailblazing founders and investors. The energy was electric – candid conversations, insightful reflections, and generous storytelling filled the room.

During her time in Toronto, Annie had the chance to connect with some of the city’s most impactful innovation hubs:
DMZ – one of Toronto’s largest and most renowned incubators
YSpace – the startup powerhouse of York University, with a dedicated Women Founders Program
MaRS Discovery District – Canada’s leading innovation hub and one of North America’s largest urban accelerators

These connections are paving the way for future collaboration between Women In Tech Vietnam and Canada’s thriving startup ecosystem. We look forward to developing joint initiatives that empower women founders, facilitate knowledge exchange, and open up global growth opportunities for women-led startups in both countries.
